The China stock market has moved higher in three straight sessions, collecting more than 90 points or 2.5 percent in that span. The Shanghai Composite Index now sits just above the 3,900-point plateau although it may open in the red on Friday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is soft ahead of key U.S. jobs data, and on a spike in crude oil prices. The European markets were flat and the U.S. bourses were down and the Asian markets figure to split the difference.
