The Malaysia stock market on Wednesday wrote a finish to the three-day winning streak in which it had collected just 4 points or 0.2 percent. The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index now sits just above the 1,610-point plateau and it may open in the red again on Thursday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is negative thanks to elevated treasury yields and concerns over the outlook for interest rates. The European and U.S. markets were firmly in the red and the Asian bourses are expected to follow that lead.
