Taiwan Stock Market May Erase Wednesday’s Losses

The Taiwan stock market has finished lower in two of three trading days since the end of the four-day winning streak in which it had rallied more than 1,550 points or 3.4 percent. The Taiwan Stock Exchange now sits just above the 46,160-point plateau although it’s likely to rebound again on Thursday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is mixed to higher on optimism over the outlook for interest rates. The European markets were down and the U.S. bourses were up and the Asian markets figure to follow the latter lead.
