The China stock market has finished lower in two of three trading days since the end of the five-day winning streak in which it had jumped almost 160 points or 4.2 percent. The Shanghai Composite Index now sits just above the 3,925-point plateau although it’s likely to move back to the upside again on Friday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is mixed to higher on optimism over the outlook for interest rates. The European markets were down and the U.S. bourses were up and the Asian markets figure to follow the latter lead.
