The Taiwan stock market bounced higher again on Wednesday, one day after ending the two-day winning streak in which it had rallied almost 3,450 points or 8 percent. The Taiwan Stock Exchange now sits just above the 44,610-point plateau although it’s likely to head south again on Thursday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is soft, thanks to profit taking and weakness among the technology stocks. The European and U.S. markets were mixed to lower and the Asian bourses are likely to follow a similar path.
