{"id":9412,"date":"2021-05-04T04:15:00","date_gmt":"2021-05-04T04:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pantheregroup.com\/2021\/05\/04\/sensex-nifty-open-tad-higher\/"},"modified":"2021-05-04T04:15:00","modified_gmt":"2021-05-04T04:15:00","slug":"sensex-nifty-open-tad-higher","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pantheregroup.com\/2021\/05\/04\/sensex-nifty-open-tad-higher\/","title":{"rendered":"Sensex, Nifty Open Tad Higher"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> \n<\/p>\n<div id=\"ctl00_CPI_dvBody\">\n<p> Indian shares opened on a positive note Tuesday as the country reported a decline in new <span class=\"landLinks\">coronavirus<\/span> cases for the third day running.<\/p>\n<p>The benchmark S&amp;P BSE Sensex rose by 100 points, or 0.2 percent, to 48,818 in early trade, while the broader NSE Nifty index was up 45 points, or 0.3 percent, at 14,678.<\/p>\n<p>Axis Bank, IOC, ONGC, Coal India and Hindalco jumped 2-4 percent in the Nifty pack, while Hindustan Unilever, Titan Company and Shree Cement all fell around 1 percent. <\/p>\n<p>Kota Mahindra Bank rose over 1 percent.
