The major index futures are currently pointing to a higher open for the <span class=\"landLinks\">markets<\/span>, with the S&amp;P 500 futures up by 0.3 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Bargain hunting may contribute to initial strength on Wall Street, as traders look to pick up stocks at relatively reduced levels.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fade-paragraph\">After plunging last Thursday, the tech-heavy Nasdaq saw further downside last Friday, ending the day at its lowest closing level since early August.
