The STI now sits just above the 5,430-point plateau although it may run out of steam on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fade-paragraph\">The global forecast for the Asian <span class=\"landLinks\">markets<\/span> is soft on rising crude oil and treasuries, and also ahead of key U.S. inflation data.
