The Straits Times Index now sits just above the 5,600-point plateau and it&#8217;s expected to open under water again on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fade-paragraph\">The global forecast for the Asian <span class=\"landLinks\">markets<\/span> is negative thanks to elevated treasury yields and concerns over the outlook for interest rates.
