The Jakarta Composite Index now rests just beneath the 6,690-point plateau, although it may hand back those gains on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fade-paragraph\">The global forecast for the Asian <span class=\"landLinks\">markets<\/span> is weak on persistent hostilities in the Middle East and the resulting spike in crude oil prices.
