The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index now sits just above the 1,720-point plateau and it may extend those losses on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fade-paragraph\">The global forecast for the Asian <span class=\"landLinks\">markets<\/span> is soft on surging oil prices and uncertainty about the conflict in the Middle East.
