The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index now sits just above the 1,720-point plateau although it may head south again on Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fade-paragraph\">The global forecast for the Asian <span class=\"landLinks\">markets<\/span> is soft on surging crude oil prices that correspond with tensions in the Middle East.
