It said further details will be provided \u201cin due course.\u201d <\/p>\n<p> \u201cWe are disappointed with the strike at our produce distribution centre in Laval,\u201d chief executive Eric La Fl\u00e8che said during the company\u2019s second quarter earnings call on Wednesday. \u201cWe look forward to a resolution that considers the needs of our employees and customers while ensuring the long-term competitiveness of our company.\u201d <\/p>\n<p> The CEO said Metro\u2019s contingency plan is in place and its Quebec stores are now generally well stocked.
