The Straits Times Index now rests just beneath the 5,015-point plateau and it&#8217;s likely to open under pressure on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fade-paragraph\">The global forecast for the Asian <span class=\"landLinks\">markets<\/span> remains grim thanks to ongoing geopolitical concerns in the Middle East.
