The fall was also sharper than the 0.8 percent decrease posted in May.<\/p>\n<p>The pan European STOXX 600 edged up by 0.2 percent to 542.53, extending gains for a third consecutive session after touching a five-week low on Friday. <\/p>\n<p>The German DAX and France&#8217;s CAC 40 both were up around 0.4 percent while the U.K.&#8217;s FTSE 100 added 0.2 percent. <\/p>\n<p>ABN AMRO shares slumped 7.5 percent.
