autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p> Canadians craving those famous Swedish meatballs from <\/p>\n<p>                        Inter IKEA Systems BV<\/p>\n<p>                         are in for a pleasant surprise as the retailer is <\/p>\n<p>                        slashing food prices<\/p>\n<p>                         to help with the <\/p>\n<p>                        rising cost of living<\/p>\n<p>                        . <\/p>\n<p> IKEA announced on Tuesday it\u2019s cutting its restaurant prices in half for adults and children eat free from Monday to Friday. <\/p>\n<p> The move is meant \u201cto help people stretch their budgets, nourish their families, and find a little more joy,\u201d the retailer said. <\/p>\n<p> \u201cSecuring the lowest possible price for our products is always our utmost goal, and this is even more important in today\u2019s times of economic uncertainties and cost-of-living pressures,\u201d Tolga \u00d6nc\u00fc, Ingka retail manager at IKEA Retail, <\/p>\n<p>                        said in a news release. <\/p>\n<p> The company says a family of four in France will now pay 6.96 euros ($11.12 CAD) for a meal and a 5 euro store voucher, compared to the previous price of 19.9 euros ($31.63 CAD). <\/p>\n<p> Food inflation<\/p>\n<p>                         has been a persistent issue in Canada, having climbed a whopping 31 per cent since 2019, <\/p>\n<p>                        according to NerdWallet Canada. <\/p>\n<p> Prices for food purchased in stores climbed 2.8 per cent year-over-year in June, <\/p>\n<p>                        according to Statistics Canada<\/p>\n<p>                        , outpacing <\/p>\n<p>                        overall inflation<\/p>\n<p>                         for the month. <\/p>\n<ul class=\"related_links\">\n<li>&#8216;We are not seeing inflation in our business,&#8217;
