Canadian jobs data for the month of April, and corporate earnings updates are also set to make an impact. <\/p>\n<p>Investors hope the U.S. and China will strike a trade deal or agree on a preliminary framework for the same this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Data released by Statistics Canada showed the Canadian <span class=\"landLinks\">economy<\/span> added 7,400 jobs in the month of April, after seeing a drop of 32,600 jobs in March.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the unemployment rate in Canada increased to 6.9% in April, up from 6.7% a month earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Enbridge Inc.
