Donald Trump has \u201cbig\u201d plans for the U.S. economy \u2014 a smaller public sector, overhauling global trade so that it benefits Americans and new tax policies that aim to spur growth.<\/p>\n
But as the president himself admitted recently, the challenge is getting there, \u201cThere\u2019ll be a little disturbance, but we\u2019re OK with that,\u201d Trump told Congress last week.<\/p>\n
What that disturbance develops into is the question, and over the past month the economists at Royal Bank of Canada have noticed several \u201cyellow flags\u201d popping up in the data.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
