\u201cOne of the things that has drawn me more into politics right now is we have an opposition who is leading in the polls (and) who doesn\u2019t understand the economy,\u201d Carney said during an episode of Liberal MP Nate Erskine-Smith\u2019s Uncommons podcast on Oct. 18. \u201cDoesn\u2019t understand where the world is going; doesn\u2019t understand what is necessary to build this economy for Canadians; who think it\u2019s a series of simplistic slogans; there\u2019s nothing behind those slogans.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
