Economists had forecast an annual fall of 3.2 percent.<\/p>\n<p>On a monthly basis, producer prices advanced 0.2 percent, the same pace of increase as seen in March and also matched economists&#8217; expectations.<\/p>\n<p>The benchmark DAX was down 66 points, or 0.4 percent, at 18,703 after edging up 0.4 percent on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Kontron rallied 3.5 percent.
