Statistics Canada data released Tuesday showed the economy grew 0.2 per cent for the month \u2014 below analysts\u2019 estimates of 0.3 per cent and StatsCan\u2019s own advanced forecast of 0.4 per cent \u2014 revealing an economy that is losing steam.<\/p>\n
However, the reading that put economists most on edge was\u00a0GDP per capita.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
