{"id":14694,"date":"2021-10-06T04:24:49","date_gmt":"2021-10-06T04:24:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pantheregroup.com\/2021\/10\/06\/sensex-nifty-hold-steady-in-early-trade-3\/"},"modified":"2021-10-06T04:24:49","modified_gmt":"2021-10-06T04:24:49","slug":"sensex-nifty-hold-steady-in-early-trade-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pantheregroup.com\/2021\/10\/06\/sensex-nifty-hold-steady-in-early-trade-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Sensex, Nifty Hold Steady In Early Trade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> \n<\/p>\n<div id=\"ctl00_CPI_dvBody\">\n<p> Indian shares were flat to slightly higher on Wednesday amid mixed global cues. <\/p>\n<p>Underlying sentiment remained underpinned somewhat after international ratings agency Moody&#8217;s upgraded the outlook on India&#8217;s sovereign rating to &#8216;stable&#8217; from &#8216;negative&#8217; in a revision after nearly two years.<\/p>\n<p>The benchmark 30-share BSE Sensex was up 82 points, or 0.1 percent, at 59,827 while the broader NSE Nifty index was up 23 points, or 0.1 percent, at 17,845.<\/p>\n<p>ONGC jumped 3.5 percent to extend gains from the previous session as oil prices hit multi-year highs. <\/p>\n<p>HDFC, HDFC Bank, IOC and UPL rose 1-2 percent while Titan Company, SBI Life, JSW Steel and Tata Motors all were down about 1 percent. <\/p>\n<p>IndusInd Bank fell about 1 percent on profit taking after rallying 5 percent the previous day.<\/p>\n<p>Bharti Airtel edged up slightly and Vodafone Idea shares rose over 1 percent after reports that the government may abandon its demand against the telecom company for spectrum charges of about ?40,000 crore.<\/p>\n<p>Zee Entertainment Enterprises was little changed after the NCLT asked the company to file a reply on Invesco&#8217;s plea for EGM by Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>IDFC First Bank gained 0.7 percent after it clocked 10 percent loan growth in the second quarter. <\/p>\n<p>Canara Bank climbed 1.1 percent after cutting its marginal cost of funds based lending rate.<\/p>\n<p>Future Retail rose half a percent after terminating its franchise agreement with 7-Eleven. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\n        window.fbAsyncInit = function () {\n            FB.init({\n                status: true,\n                cookie: true,\n                xfbml: true\n            });\n        };\n        (function (d) {\n            var js, id = 'facebook-jssdk'; if (d.getElementById(id)) { return; }\n            js = d.createElement('script'); js.id = id; js.async = true;\n            js.src = \"https:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/en_US\/all.js\";\n            d.getElementsByTagName('head')[0].appendChild(js);\n        }(document));\n    <\/script><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>Sensex, Nifty Hold Steady In Early Trade<\/a><br \/>\n<br \/>2021-10-06 04:24:49<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Indian shares were flat to slightly higher on Wednesday amid mixed global cues.
