{"id":12371,"date":"2021-07-30T04:34:13","date_gmt":"2021-07-30T04:34:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pantheregroup.com\/2021\/07\/30\/sensex-nifty-tad-higher-in-early-trade-2\/"},"modified":"2021-07-30T04:34:13","modified_gmt":"2021-07-30T04:34:13","slug":"sensex-nifty-tad-higher-in-early-trade-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pantheregroup.com\/2021\/07\/30\/sensex-nifty-tad-higher-in-early-trade-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Sensex, Nifty Tad Higher In Early Trade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> \n<\/p>\n<div id=\"ctl00_CPI_dvBody\">\n<p> Indian shares opened a tad higher on Friday, despite mixed global cues. <\/p>\n<p>The benchmark 30-share BSE Sensex edged up 98 points, or 0.2 percent, to 52,751 in early trade, while the broader NSE Nifty index was up 35 points, or 0.2 percent, at 15,813.<\/p>\n<p>Tech Mahindra soared almost 7 percent after it reported a 40 percent year-on-year jump in Q1 profit.<\/p>\n<p>NTPC, Adani Ports, HCL Technologies and Power Grid Corporation of India rallied 2-3 percent. <\/p>\n<p>Financials were coming under selling pressure, with SBI, SBI Life and Bajaj FinServ losing 1-2 percent. <\/p>\n<p>Bharti Airtel edged down slightly while Vodafone Idea rose about 1 percent after TRAI released subscriber data for May. <\/p>\n<p>JK Lakshmi Cement fell 3 percent while TCS Motors climbed 3 percent after declaring their quarterly results. <\/p>\n<p>Union Bank of India was moving lower.
