Following the sharp increase seen during the previous session, the price of crude oil has shown a lack of direction over the course of the trading day on Friday.

Crude for November delivery has spent the day bouncing back and forth across the unchanged line and was last seen trading up by $0.33 or 0.4 percent at $91.82 a barrel after surging $3.21 or 3.6 percent to $91.49 a barrel during Thursday’s session.
