Lower index futures point to a weak open on Wall Street on Wednesday. Flash PMI data for the month of September could make an impact on sentiment.
The Dow futures are down 0.3%, the S&P futures are down 0.13%, and the Nasdaq futures are lower by 0.27%.
S&P Global’s preliminary PMI readings on U.S. manufacturing and services sector activity for the month of September are due this morning.
The focus will also be on geopolitical news. The developments with regard to efforts to de-escalate Middle East tensions, and U.S. President’s potential meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Washington this week are in focus.
