European stocks closed weak on Wednesday with investors digesting corporate earnings updates and regional economic data in addition to assessing the prospects of a fresh round of U.S.-Iran peace talks.

The U.S. President said in a post on the Truth Social that the U.S. would hold off on attacking Iran until their leasers “come up with a unified proposal.”
