Oil prices retreated on Wednesday as Middle East tensions eased, and industry data showed U.S. crude inventories surged by 10.263 million barrels last week.
Brent crude prices traded over 1 percent lower at $102.62 a barrel after having fallen below $100 a barrel earlier in the day. WTI crude futures for May delivery fell more than 2 percent to $99.16 a barrel.
