Restaurant Brands International Inc.

(RBI) reported 6.9 per cent

system-wide sales growth

for the third quarter of 2025, driven by strong results from

Tim Hortons

, which accounts for roughly 44 per cent of the company’s operating profit.

RBI released its quarterly results on Thursday, reporting total revenues of US$2.45 billion, up from US$2.29 billion in the prior year.

Tim Hortons contributed US$1.125 billion in revenues for the quarter, up from US$1.044 billion in 2024. System-wide sales for Tim Hortons were US$2.029 billion, an increase from US$1.952 billion.

“Tim Hortons and our

international business

continue to set the standard with steady, high quality growth built on strong fundamentals,” said RBI executive chairman Patrick Doyle during Thursday’s earnings call.

Chief executive Joshua Kobza said Tim Hortons stands out as a consistent performer and contributor to RBI’s growth.

The

coffee chain’s

comparable sales grew 4.2 per cent, up from 2.3 per cent and 2.7 per cent in Canada.

RBI’s system-wide sales were up in the third quarter to US$12.28 billion from US$11.43 billion in 2024.

The company reported a net income of US$440 million, an increase from US$357 billion. This amounted to diluted earnings of $0.96 per share, up from $0.79.

Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) was US$794 million in the third quarter, up from US$748 million.
