The Hong Kong stock market has moved lower in six straight sessions, slumping almost 1,550 points or 6.5 percent along the way. The Hang Seng Index now sits just above the 24,400-point plateau and it’s looking at another soft start again on Thursday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is weak on further escalating tensions in the Middle East. The European and U.S. markets were down and the Asian bourses are expected to follow that lead.
