Thousands of X users are reporting an outage with the social media platform, marking the second outage in a week.
As of Friday at 10:30 a.m. EST, more than 8,000 people — more than 7,000 in Canada —
reported the outage to Downdetector
, which tracks service on popular websites.
There is no word on the cause of the issue. X has yet to comment on the mater.
This comes as more than 24,000 reported a similar outage earlier this week, when users’ homepages were not loading.
In both cases, service was restored shortly after the outage.
