Earnings from major corporates such as Google parent Alphabet and electric car maker Tesla might be the focus on Thursday. Early signs from the U.S. Futures Index suggest that Wall Street might open broadly up.

In the Asian trading session, gold traded weak around $3,375 per ounce, while dollar held at more than two-week low.

Asian shares finished mostly up, while European shares are trading broadly up.

As of 8.10 am ET, the Dow futures were down 212.00 points, the S&P 500 futures were adding 6.75 points and the Nasdaq 100 futures were climbing 72.50 points.

The U.S. major averages ended Wednesday higher. The Dow jumped 507.85 points or 1.1 percent to 45,010.20, the Nasdaq climbed 127.33 points or 0.6 percent to 21,020.02 and the S&P 500 advanced 49.29 points or 0.8 percent to 6,358.91.

On the economic front, the Labor Department’s Jobless Claims for the week will be issued at 8.30 am ET. The consensus is 225K, while it was up 221K in the prior week.

The Chicago Fed National Activity Index for June will be released at 8.30 am ET. In the prior month, the Index were down 0.28.

The PMI Composite Flash for July will be revealed at 9.45 am ET. The consensus is 52.3, while it was up 52.9 in the prior month.

The New Home Sales for June will be published at 10.00 am ET. The consensus is 650K, while it was up 623K in May.

The Energy Information Administration or EIA’s Natural Gas Report for week is scheduled at 10.30 am ET. In the prior week, the gas stock was up 46 bcf.

Two-year Floating Rate Note or FRN and five-year and seven-year Treasury Note auctions will be held at 11.00 am ET.

Ten-year Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities or TIPS auction will be held at 1.00 pm ET.

The Fed Balance sheet for the week is scheduled at 4.30 pm ET. In the prior week, the Level was at $6.659 trillion.

Asian stocks advanced on Thursday. China’s Shanghai Composite index jumped 0.65 percent to 3,605.73. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index rose 0.51 percent to 25,667.18.

Japanese stocks logged strong gains. The Nikkei average ended up 1.59 percent at 41,826.34. The broader Topix index surged to 2,986.63 and settled 1.75 percent higher at 2,977.55.

Australian markets ended slightly lower. The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 dropped 0.32 percent to 8,709.40 while the broader All Ordinaries index slipped 0.24 percent to close at 8,979.40.
